About this Event

Two of London's biggest gay communities. One rooftop. One super gay network.

Friend of Dorothy x JAKE: the Super Gay Network.

Two communities, one night. Friend of Dorothy and JAKE are bringing their networks together for the first time, high above London at Pérola, art’otel Battersea Power Station.

FOD brings the community of gay men who come to our socials, classes and adventures every week. JAKE brings its network of gay professionals. Put them together and you get one super gay network.

You don’t need a business card or an elevator pitch. Think of it as networking the way it should be: a welcome drink in your hand, incredible views and a room full of gay men who are up for meeting new people. You might leave with a new friend, a new contact or your next collaborator.

Your ticket includes a welcome drink on arrival and a FOD x JAKE goodie bag.

Coming on your own? Perfect. Most people do, and that’s the point. Tell us it’s your first time and we’ll make the introductions.

Tickets are limited, so grab yours early.

Scared to come alone?

Most of our guys showed up solo too

It's the most common worry we hear. Here's how we make sure first-timers leave feeling like they belong.

1

You won't be the only solo guy

More than 60% of attendees come alone. The room is built for it.

2

We greet you at the door

Tell us it's your first time and we'll introduce you to people right away.

3

The activity does the work

You don't have to make small talk from cold.

4

Leave when you want

Stay for the social or head home early. Both are normal.

Finally a gay event where I felt seen

I'm 47 and most gay events make me feel ancient. This one had every type of guy — single, coupled, all ages.

My first gay event ever

Was so nervous to come alone. Within 10 minutes someone introduced themselves at the bar.

Worth every penny (which is barely any)

£10 for a line-up that would cost £40 anywhere else, plus a drink and a gift bag.
