INFLUENCER CODE OF CONDUCT
We don’t just work with influencers. We partner with people who represent the kind of community we want to build.
WHY THIS MATTERS
At Friend of Dorothy, we’re building more than a brand. We’re building a community rooted in connection, respect, and inclusion — both online and in real life.
Our influencer programme plays a key role in that.
By working with us, creators represent the values of our brand and the community we serve.
RESPECT COMES FIRST
We have zero tolerance for content or behaviour that promotes racism, discrimination, transphobia, homophobia, hate speech, harassment, bullying, or content that fetishises or dehumanises individuals or communities.
This applies across all platforms — past and present.
OUR VALUES
We partner with creators who align with our mission: to bring people together, reduce isolation, and create spaces where people feel welcome.
Influencers are expected to act in good faith, represent inclusive and respectful perspectives, and avoid content that could harm or divide the communities we serve.
Connection
Bringing people together.
Respect
Treating people with dignity.
Inclusion
Creating space for everyone.
ACCOUNTABILITY MATTERS
We understand that people make mistakes. But harmful content, repeated issues, refusal to engage constructively, or failure to disclose relevant concerns may result in removal from the programme.
We reserve the right to end partnerships at our discretion.
TRANSPARENCY & HONESTY
Influencers must clearly disclose paid partnerships, gifted products, discount codes, or affiliate relationships in line with advertising standards.
They must also avoid misleading claims about our products.
Trust matters — with us, with your audience, and with our community.
CONTENT EXPECTATIONS
We celebrate humour, personality, confidence, and individuality.
But content created for Friend of Dorothy must not associate the brand with harmful, degrading, exclusionary, or offensive narratives.
Personality is welcome. Harm is not.
COMMUNITY COMES BEFORE CLOUT
We are not here for short-term reach at any cost.
We prioritise safe spaces, real connection, long-term trust, and the wellbeing of the communities we serve.
If a creator’s behaviour undermines this, we will act.
REPORTING CONCERNS
If you become aware of content or behaviour that conflicts with these standards, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can review and respond appropriately.

OUR COMMITMENT
We hold ourselves to the same standards we expect from others.
If we get something wrong, we will take accountability, address it, learn from it, and improve.
THIS IS ABOUT RESPONSIBILITY
This is not about perfection.
It’s about responsibility.
We’re building something meaningful — and who we choose to work with matters.
