Friend of Dorothy invites you to an intimate evening of queer spoken word, storytelling, connection and conversation with myndstate, the London-based poet and performer whose work explores queer identity, sexuality, mental health and the realities of modern gay life.

Raw, honest and deeply relatable, myndstate's work tackles everything from desire and relationships to loneliness, self-acceptance and belonging.

A national poetry slam winner, myndstate has been featured on BBC Radio London and Sky Sports, with millions of views across their work online. They are currently working on new music alongside a debut book due for release later this year.

The evening will include:

✨ Welcome drinks from 7:00pm

🌈 A room full of queer people sharing stories, experiences and connection

This isn't just a performance.

It's an opportunity to meet new people, hear stories that resonate, and spend an evening in a welcoming, community-led space.

Whether you come alone or with friends, you'll leave having shared an experience with people who understand it.

The main event will run until approximately 9:30pm, followed by drinks, mingling and the chance to connect with other attendees.

🎟️ Tickets are limited, so we'd recommend booking early.
