About this night

WHAT IS IT?

Switch off, slow down and give yourself an hour to reset.

Join Friend of Dorothy and yoga teacher Chris for Flow to Restore – a 60-minute class blending energising vinyasa flow with gentle restorative poses, designed to leave you feeling grounded, relaxed and renewed.

The session combines movement, breathwork, meditation, poetry and sound, giving you the chance to move your body, quiet your mind and reconnect.

Whether you're a regular yogi or have never stepped onto a mat before, the class is open to all levels, bodies and abilities. Chris creates a relaxed, inclusive environment where there's no pressure to perform – just turn up, breathe and move at your own pace.

And, like all Friend of Dorothy events, it's also an opportunity to meet new people and connect with the communitythrough a shared experience.

Move. Breathe. Connect. Restore. šŸ§˜ā™‚ļø

Scared to come alone?

Most of our guys showed up solo too

It's the most common worry we hear. Here's how we make sure first-timers leave feeling like they belong.

1

You won't be the only solo guy

More than 60% of attendees come alone. The room is built for it.

2

We greet you at the door

Tell us it's your first time and we'll introduce you to people right away.

3

The activity does the work

You don't have to make small talk from cold.

4

Leave when you want

Stay for the social or head home early. Both are normal.

Finally a gay event where I felt seen

I'm 47 and most gay events make me feel ancient. This one had every type of guy — single, coupled, all ages.

My first gay event ever

Was so nervous to come alone. Within 10 minutes someone introduced themselves at the bar.

Worth every penny (which is barely any)

£10 for a line-up that would cost £40 anywhere else, plus a drink and a gift bag.
