Friend of Dorothy Presents: myndstate

An Evening of Spoken Word & Q&A

About this experience

🎤 FRIEND OF DOROTHY PRESENTS: myndstate
26th June @ 7:30pm

@The Ministry

Friend of Dorothy invites you to an intimate night of queer spoken word, storytelling, and connection with myndstate, a London-based poet and performer whose work dives into the realities of queer identity, sexuality, and mental health.

Raw, honest and often unfiltered, myndstate’s words explore what it means to be gay today from desire and relationships to loneliness, self-acceptance, and everything in between.

A national poetry slam winner, myndstate has been featured on BBC Radio London and Sky Sports, with millions of views across their work online. They are currently working on new music, alongside a debut book releasing later this year.

The evening will include:

  • A live spoken word performance from myndstate
  • Live Q&A
  • A space for queer voices, shared experiences, and real connection

This isn’t just a performance, it’s a room full of gay men coming together, hearing stories that reflect their own, and leaving feeling a little more seen.

Whether you come solo or with friends, you’ll be part of a welcoming, community-led space.

Tickets are limited, so we’d recommend booking early.
