Friend of Dorothy presents A Friend of Dorothy with Director Q&A

About this experience

🎬 FRIEND OF DOROTHY PRESENTS:  A Friend of Dorothy, a Lee Knight short film.

We’ll be taking over Clapham Picturehouse for a special screening of the Oscar-nominated short film A Friend of Dorothy, a powerful film that explores identity, belonging, and connection within the LGBTQ+ community. Through an intimate and emotional story, it captures what it means to search for your place and the people who make you feel seen.

The evening will include:
– A screening of the film
– A live interview with Director Lee Knight, hosted by Jamie Tabberer
– An open audience Q&A, giving you the chance to be part of the conversation

Director Lee Knight is a British actor, writer, and director known for creating bold, emotionally resonant stories that explore identity and human connection. His work often centres on LGBTQ+ narratives, with a focus on authenticity and lived experience.

But this event is about more than just the film.

It’s about creating a space where people can come together, reflect, and connect not just with the story on screen, but with each other.

This event is co-hosted with Impulse London, supporting their work within the community.

Whether you come solo or with a friend, you’ll be joining a welcoming group of people all there for the same reason. Tickets for this are limited and will sell out quickly so get them while you can.

Shared experiences like this open the door to real conversations. Whether it’s something that resonates personally or simply sparks curiosity, it’s those moments that make it easier to talk, meet new people, and feel connected.

Come for the film.
Stay for the conversation.
Leave feeling part of something. 🌈
