Is this actually designed for gay men?
Yes, that is the whole point of it. The questionnaire, the clinical team and the way we talk about sex are all built around gay men rather than adapted for them afterwards. Topping, bottoming, apps, chemsex, PrEP and the pressure that comes with all of it are normal parts of the conversation here.
What happens in the five minute application?
A confidential health questionnaire, then a review by a UK registered prescriber. If treatment is suitable, they prescribe and it is dispensed by a registered pharmacy. If it is not suitable, they explain why and suggest what to do instead. Either way the application itself is free and you are only charged if something is prescribed.
I am on PrEP. Does that rule me out?
Usually not, and it is a completely routine thing to tell us. Put it on the form along with anything else you take, prescribed or otherwise, and your clinician will factor it in. The one combination that is never safe is nitrates, which includes poppers.
Can I use poppers?
No, not alongside erectile dysfunction treatment. Poppers are nitrates, and combining them with this kind of treatment can cause your blood pressure to drop to a dangerous level. This is the single most important thing on this page. If poppers are a regular part of your sex life, say so on the form so your clinician can advise you properly.
What if the clinician says no?
You are not charged, and you get a proper explanation rather than a rejection email. Often there is something else worth doing first, whether that is a GP appointment, a blood pressure check, or a different approach entirely, and they will point you at it.
Will anyone know what is in the parcel?
No. It arrives in plain, unmarked outer packaging with nothing on it that says what is inside or who it is from, and the descriptor that shows up on your bank statement is generic.
What does it cost?
The application and the clinical review are free. You only pay if a clinician decides treatment is appropriate for you, and the exact cost depends on what they prescribe, which is why it is not listed here. You will see the price before you pay anything, and you can walk away at that point.
Can I change things later?
Yes. Message the team at any time to adjust, pause or stop. There is no charge for changing your mind and no script anyone will read at you to talk you out of it.
Is this a replacement for seeing a doctor?
No. A clinician reviewing an online form is real clinical care, but it is not a full physical examination. Erectile changes can occasionally be an early sign of something else, particularly cardiovascular, so if this is new, sudden or worrying you, a GP appointment is genuinely worth having alongside this.
